Agent Liveaboard Terms & Conditions

Liveaboard Diving Thailand, Maldives, Indonesia and more, all areas Booking Terms & Conditions

All bookings through the Agent Liveaboard website are received are on these terms. Please ensure you read them carefully.


Insurance is not included. Please ensure you have the correct insurance to cover your diver certification level, plus trip cancellation insurance and general holiday insurance. If you are unsure of where to obtain the correct diving insurance please contact [email protected] prior to making your booking.


Please ensure you have a copy of your most recent certification card and dive log for the tour leader's attention. Failure to show your certification may result in not being able to dive on the trip. If diving you MUST hold a diver level certification.

National Park, Port & Visa Fees

National Park Fees, Port Fees and Visa Fees are not included and must be paid strictly by cash directly to the liveaboard tour leader on arrival. These fees may change at any time at the discretion of the relevant authorities please make sure you are aware of the relevant fees prior to making your booking. See individual boat prices for details.

Fuel Charges

Some liveaboards may have a local fuel surcharge. Please check for individual requirements prior to booking as these can change on a daily basis.

Liability Release Forms

Once on board you will be required to sign a liability waiver release before departure. If taking courses onboard a medical questionnaire is also standard, please bring any medical conditions to the attention of the tour leader and produce a doctor's medical clearance for diving upon arrival.

Payment Requirements

  • 40% Deposit required at time of booking.
  • Remaining balance required 60 days prior to departure.
  • Bookings received less than 60 days before departure require payment in full.
  • Special Offers & Packages require payment in full at time of booking.
  • If final balance is not received by the time specified within your booking confirmation receipt, Agent Liveaboard has the right to cancel the booking and resell the spaces with no return of deposit.
  • Cancellations can only be acknowledged if received IN WRITING, by fax (+ 66 76 286 112) or by email [email protected] No cancellations accepted by telephone.
  • Cancellation received more than 60 days prior to departure. Deposit returned less bank fee and admin charge.
  • Cancellation received less than 60 days of departure date. No refund, full cruise price applies.
  • Payments are accepted by CASH, SECURE ONLINE PAYMENT with PAYPAL/CREDIT/DEBIT CARD or INTERNATIONAL BANK TRANSFER. Full payment details will be provided with final booking confirmation. Online payment and Credit card charges apply please see you final booking for details.
  • Full Charter Bookings, Accommodation and Training will receive individual booking and cancellation terms.
  • Some liveaboards do request payment 90 days prior to departure date. You will be informed of the payment terms of your chosen liveaboard at the time of booking. The above is an example of the majority of liveaboards listed and does not apply to all bookings, the same applies to cancellation fees.

Unused Services

No refund or compensation is due payable by Agent Liveaboard for any unused training or trip. Clients who do not complete the training or trip for whatsoever reason, cannot be refunded for a portion of the total cost.

Program Changes and its subsidiaries, and the liveaboard dive operators reserve the right to rearrange the order of any itinerary, to cancel or substitute elements of any plan without notice when local conditions force such changes. Each liveaboard is operated on minimum number of booking per boat. In the event that the minimum number of bookings is not attained, you may be rebooked or transferred to the associate liveaboard of the same standard.

Responsibility of and its subsidiaries, hereinafter called 'AL' acts only as agent for the person or companies providing accommodation, transport, liveaboard trips or day trips etc. hereafter called 'Service Providers' and AL issues all booking documentation on the Service Providers' terms and conditions.

The tour member acknowledges that neither AL, nor its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, staff or agents shall be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any Service Provider or by "force major" or other events beyond AL's control, including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, pilferage, delays, severe weather, Acts of God, Acts of Government, accidents to or failure of machinery, equipment, vehicles or industrial disputes. AL is held accountable solely to the laws of Thailand. Any contractual laws from countries other than Thailand remain the responsibility of the agent or the client to manage.

AL shall not be liable for, or responsible to, any tour member in the event of dissatisfaction based on personal opinion regarding the standard of service or accommodation provided by any Service Provider nor be liable or responsible for any disappointment, distress, lack of enjoyment arising from any act or omission whatsoever. AL will only acknowledge liability in the case of proven justified complaints relating to specific and tangible inadequacies of facilities, accommodation or services provided. In the event of such a complaint the customer is requested to immediately contact AL or the Service Provider, hotel etc., for remedial action to resolve any problem or irregularity at that time. Only if such a complaint has been lodged will AL consider to fully investigate and act on any complaint.

AL endeavor's to ensure that all information on the website is accurate, but can accept no responsibility for inaccuracy, or truth of statements made. Illustrations are intended to set the mood for each tour destination and may not present actual views as seen on a specific tour. All fares and prices quoted in are correct at the time of publishing. Such fares, prices and international rates of exchange are subject to change, which in turn may affect tour prices quoted. Regardless of a deposit or full payment having been made, any increase in the tour price must also be paid by the tour member. If such increase is unacceptable, the tour member retains the right to cancel his/her booking. However, attention is drawn to the possibility that some cancellation charges may be imposed covering AL cancellation cost.
