Maldives Central Route:

Departing from Male, this 10 night dive safari takes you first to Rasfari reef and Rasdhoo atoll where making an early start we dive with schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks. After this exhilaration we move on to spend 3 days exploring the reefs, wrecks and canyons of the northern and southern Ari atolls. Grey reef sharks can be seen at a variety of sites along with schools of snappers and barracuda. Eagle rays are amongst the common sightings. Whale sharks and mantas can be seen also. Shark action continues at Nilhande atoll and into Thaa atoll. The lack of resorts at Thaa make this an ideal spot for liveabaord diving. Passing through a northern kandu the Maldives siren will stop at a number of sites in the central and eastern part of the atoll before moving southwards to Laamu. The final days of diving are spent around Laamu atoll where we look out for the largest mammal - the blue whale! Disembark on day 11 at Khadhdhoo airport for your return flight to Male.

Trips also depart from Khadhdhoo and end in Male following the same diving program in reverse order. Please email is for full details [email protected]

Maldives Central & Southern Routes:

Departing from Male, this 10 night dive safari takes you first to South Male atoll to dive the Kuda Giri wreck with its schools of glass fish. Felidhoo atoll is where we dive to the deep caves hunting for grey reef sharks that can be found within, as well as the marine protected area of Devana Kandu. Mulaku atoll, only accessible by liveaboard, is the place to watch out for hammerhead sharks and is home to the turtle breeding area of Muli. The SY Maldives Siren continues southwards on to Thaa and Laamu atolls for encounters with grey reef sharks and other large pelagics before a long sail southwards to the remote atoll of Huvadhoo. The kandus of Huvadhoo bring all sorts of marine life and within the atoll are pristine shallow reefs to explore. You will spend the last 2 days of diving in the far south before disembarking on day 11 at Kaadedhdhoo airport for your return flight to Male.

Trips also depart from Kaadedhdhoo and end in Male following the same diving program in reverse order. Please email us for full details [email protected]

Maldives Northern Route:

Trips also depart from Hanimaadhoo and end in Male following the same diving program in reverse order.

Maldives Southern Route:

Departing from and returning to Kaadedhdhoo, this 10 night dive safari takes you around the entire circumference of and into the heart of the atoll. Heading first along the western edge to the very south for the opportunity to see juvenile and adult tiger sharks as they venture into the channels then moving eastwards, the SY Maldives Siren stops at a variety of kandus where reef sharks, eagle rays and the cute but aggressive "nemo" can be found. Further north on the eastern side of the atoll we encounter large schools of tunas, jacks and snappers, along with colorful coral groupers, angelfish, puffers and trigger fish. In the far north its time for more shark action with grey reef and white tips found at Vilingili Kandu. We then venture inside the atoll to explore the coral gardens and 'giris'. The above water scenery rivals that of the underwater and its a great opportunity to take the kayaks out for a paddle. The final dives will be on the western side with gentle drifts around Bazu Thila before disembarking on day 11 for the return flight to Male.

Reach Kaadedhdhoo via short domestic flight from Male and the Maldives Siren team will be there to greet you.
